This new storefront supplies you with all your cocktail/mocktail needs like:

Cocktail ingredients (loads of bitters, syrups, garnishes, mixers)

Whiskey Loves Basil Cocktail Supply Co. is more than just a supply store; it's an experience and an educational opportunity. Owners Geniece and Sandie bring in over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. They bring a wealth of expertise to help you craft the perfect drink and elevate your cocktail game whether you’re a seasoned mixologist or just starting out. “I'm passionate about creating cocktails, and helping people find something they can get excited about in our store,” says Geniece, co-owner of Whiskey Loves Basil Cocktail Co.

Walking inside the store, it’s clear there is a ton of thought, passion, and artistry that went into this quaint shop. Each and every item is curated and hand selected to provide the right tools for crafting exceptional drinks and also serve as a hub for creativity and education.

What I like most is the personalized customer service. On my last visit I popped in to get ingredients and glassware to make an Aviation; my favorite classic cocktail. Owners Geniece and Sandie were on the ball with recommendations on the proper glassware, ingredients, and garnish to make my favorite cocktail at home.

Behind Whiskey Loves Basil: How It Started

Founded on a 30-year friendship, Whiskey Loves Basil Cocktail Supply Co. is proudly owned and operated by Geniece and Sandie.

Geniece has an extensive background in the food and beverage industry and is a well known name in the Claremont foodies community. I have had the pleasure of knowing Geniece when she was a bartender at Bardot. She has a passion and knack for creating whimsical cocktails with high quality and unique ingredients. She’s also been successful in leading her cocktail workshop and bartending business for over six years.

Sandie, on the other hand, brings her artistic talent as a children’s book illustrator with a background in retail and a love for art and design. Together, their shared passion for artistry and mixology culminated in the creation of Whiskey Loves Basil Cocktail Supply Co.

Grand opening happens on May 18, 2024 with appetizers, tastings from Ghia, a spirits-free apéritif adapted for modern times, from 4-7 pm, boozy ice cream in partnership with Bert and Rocky's, and more.
